Dinosaur Data Sheet: We created a document on Excel. The first sheet is how I organized the raw data. The second sheet is my grade rubric that I created as if I was a teacher. The third sheet is a grade book sheet for my "classroom."
DTP Worksheet: Using Desk Top Publisher I created a worksheet that could be used for in-class activities or homework.
DTP Flyer: I also created a flyer that can be sent home to the parents of my students.
Slideshow Presentation: Using PowerPoint 2008 I created a slideshow about Plagiarism. The slideshow discusses the problem with plagiarism, the prevalence of it, as well as solutions to this growing problem. -If the embedded video does not work on Slide 13, the URL can be accessed in the Bibliography, on Slide 19.
-Slideshow Script: The slideshow has minimal text on it. While presenting the slideshow I will also be elaborating with this script.
In-Class Activities:
Searching With Style Scavenger Hunt: Using different search engines to complete an interactive survey. Emphasizing the different elements of a variety of search engines.
"What Were They Thinking" Scavenger Hunt: Looking at other educator's court cases that were caused by inappropriate material on the Internet. We also looked at a fellow classmate's Internet "footprint" and presented the found information to them.
Profiler: We also looked at a fellow classmate's Internet "footprint" and presented the found information to them. This is the information my peers found about me.
Survey and Chart: We interviewed a group of classmates on a variety of topics. I surveyed people's favorite types of cuisine, bellow are my results.
Accountability: Using a Bubble Mind Map, I charted a pros and cons list on the topic of technology accountability in the classroom.
